Introducing our new records & planning system
True Bearing
Know where you stand. Know where you’re headed.
We are excited to introduce True Bearing, our new homeschool records and academic planning system designed to serve every family under our oversight—from routine recordkeeping and annual reviews through high-school planning, transcripts, and graduation.
True Bearing brings together clearer records, thoughtful planning tools, and a more flexible high-school framework built around a simple idea: students do not all need the same path to reach a meaningful destination.
For Current Members Only:
Clearer Records
Keep academic information organized and easier to follow from year to year.
Better Planning
See where your student is now and make thoughtful choices about what comes next.
More Flexible Paths
Build an educational plan around your student’s abilities, interests, and goals.
NEW FOR HIGH SCHOOL
Three paths. Three purposes. One strong foundation.
Our high-school program is expanding to give families more flexibility while preserving clear graduation standards. True Bearing now supports three distinct diploma pathways, each designed around a different post-high-school goal.
01
College Preparatory
For students preparing for four-year college or university study
A rigorous academic pathway emphasizing English, higher mathematics, laboratory science, social studies, world language, and academic electives, with opportunities for Honors, AP, and Dual Enrollment coursework.
02
Career & Technical Education
For students preparing for skilled work, technical training, or apprenticeship
A strong academic foundation paired with a focused three-course career concentration, work-based learning, career-related electives, and industry credentials where appropriate.
03
Standard
For students seeking a flexible, well-rounded high-school program
A complete high-school education with greater elective flexibility, allowing families to build around the student’s abilities, interests, responsibilities, and postsecondary plans.
More choice. Clearer planning. Better fit.
The new framework also includes expanded course options, clearer guidance for Honors-level work, and planning tools designed to help families build a high-school program that reflects the actual student—not a one-size-fits-all sequence.
